For price transparency here is what I was charged + what services the shop recommended when I brought my car in after I ran the check engine code. I'm posting this months later because I want to help future customers understand how much it costs to replace a purge valve. For reference, this was done on a 2016 Mazda CX-5 with no prior repair history and low mileage. I hope someone else can learn a lesson from my experience!

Had a brake line somehow pop luckily was able to get to Doug’s. They were able to get it repaired same day and at a fair and affordable price.

This place is amazing, and has the nicest people working here! Bring all your business here! My daughter and I were on the freeway and hit something on the road resulting in a flat tire. We managed to get off the freeway and parked in a lot where we proceeded to ask a few people if they could possible help us change the tire to the spare. We were met with a big solid no! I was so upset and then noticed Steve's Automotive in the same parking lot. I ran into the office with tears in my eyes and asked if anyone could possible help. I knew I could do it but just need a little guidance. A sweet man came out drove the car into the bay and proceeded to change the tire, fill up the spare with some air, told us not to go faster that 60, and sent us on our way and would not take any money.
