I really wish that I didn't have to post this, as everyone I've worked with at Steve's has been kind and attempted to help. Over the past 2 weeks, I have brought my car in at least 4 times, each time with a slightly different issue. The first time, a repair was done for my intake manifold, which seems that they did a good job on. The second time, my check engine light came back on and I brought it in for the same issue. It turns out, after paying over $200 for another test, that some wiring was crossed. They fixed that for me at no cost, other than the $200 testing fee again. I brought it in because my turbo was acting up, it cost me around $900 to fix that time after testing. I took it out for a test drive that night and the same issue ocured. I should have done more research, because I called 2-3 other shops afterword and the cost to fix the boost pressure sensor is only $200-$300. Not only that, but fixing the sensor was probably not even needed as it is a cracked hose that was somehow missed on their inspection I paid over $200 dollars for, again. In short, I paid over $900 in testing fees and $1800, to get a still broken car. I cannot recommend Steve's auto to anyone. I don't know if they just don't know how to fix a VW or are intentionally trying to squeeze money out of clients, but I would avoid them.

Edit: Dave from Steve’s reached out to me once he heard what had happened, he was extremely helpful and professional. I was refunded for the testing that was not needed and they were very fair in their reparations

Thanks for taking the time to talk with us so we could resolve the issue Jaxon :)

I had a good deal of (unexpected and much needed) work done by these folks on short notice. I had my car back by the end of the day with the ease of an Uber shuttle to and from. I appreciated the kind, professional and humble attitude from the employees. Super easy to work with. They even turned off my *oil change needed* light in my car! ( I always forget how to do that). I was exhausted from a week of nursing exams and wasn't my spunkiest self. Thanks for dealing with me anyways. I am truly grateful and relieved to have the work done with care.

This place. We went in for a transmission fluid service. They did their free diagnostic testing. Suggested repairs on a oil leak. So we get it in. Had some new tires put on our car and suv. This place is a joke! Left with more oil leaks, a break light that won’t go off. They said we would have to take it to the dealership to have them reset the code. They did a $200 break service that was not suggested or asked for. Then they didn’t balance our tires on our suv and they broke one of our tire sensors and instead of telling us they put it INSIDE the tire so when we took it get balanced they had to take the tire off the rim and found that inside. We live in Wyoming. We drove all the way back with unbalanced tires and something bounding around inside the whole way. It caused damage to the tire and rim. All they offered us was a $100 store credit. Shove your credit. We will never be back and I will make sure anyone I know never uses you.
