I typically don’t give very many businesses a 5 star rating because when I see reviews with so many 5 star ratings, I get the impression that the business owner’s family members and friends are pumping up the rating status with super-excellent reviews that don’t quite add up to the level of service offered. With that being said, Steve’s Automotive Specialists actually lives up to the reviews it receives online. I happily give it 5 stars for the transparency they have shown me while diagnosing my vehicles. They communicated clearly, keeping me informed every step of the way. I really liked the pictures they send to update you of your car’s problem(s) and felt that the whole process was fairly streamlined, in terms of getting you taken care of; minus the anxiety of wondering if their diagnosis is correct or not. Long story short, if you’re on the fence about trying this particular shop out, then you can hop off the fence because these guys will take good care of you and your vehicle! Highly recommended! The team at Steve’s is INCREDIBLE. They were so transparent, communicative and respectful through every step of the process. I know very little about car or repairs but I felt very taken care of by this skilled and considerate team. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the best experience I’ve had with car repairs. Such a great shop! Even though I couldn't afford to get everything done at once, I was given a list of needed services in order of importance and pricing info. You can tell from the first visit they value their customers and are honest in their work. I've referred them to others and will be back!

I just recently moved to the Sandy area and wasn’t sure what mechanic to go to, I read some reviews and glad I chose Steve’s auto. They’re honest and quick with what they do. First problem was a headlight wiring issue they took care of and next was a window regulator just a day after. Both got taken care of in a timely manner. They do inspections on your vehicle and recommend different services that your vehicle needs or may need in the near future. I’m glad I went to Steve’s auto, I’ll keep going back whenever my car needs some work done. Oh and they offer a free Uber ride to wherever you may need to go while your vehicle is getting worked on, or a rental vehicle if your car is going to be in the shop over the weekend which is nice. Steve's Automotive is a completely different kind of experience than other mechanic shops.
