I have used Expertec for a few years now. They are responsive, knowledgeable, affordable, and they fix my vehicles quickly. I highly recommend using them.

My daughter’s car wouldn’t start so we had it towed there a few months back. It again wouldn’t start so we had it towed back to have them look at it. They could have easily said it was a different problem, but they were honest and said it was covered under the warranty of the previous work they had done! So grateful they were honest and didn’t charge us! It’s so nice to find a place that is honest. So hard to find these days. Thanks, you made my day and my daughter’s!

These guys are literally the greatest! The front receptionist Brittnie is always friendly and is great at helping me get what I need whenever I come in. The diagnostic test they do is really helpful to see what I need fixed immediately and what things can wait a little bit longer to be addressed. They always ask you about any work and tell you what it will cost, so you can decide if you want to do it that day or if you want to hold off on it. They will also check any car you are thinking about buying to let you know if the price the seller is asking is worth it. Steve's Automotive Specialists is by far the best auto repair shop that I have ever been to.

I love this place! They fixed my car for me at an affordable price. They did it very quickly too, considering I took it in on a holiday. Dirk was so kind and checked up with me later to see if my car was running smoothly after the repairs. Amazing, thank you so much!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! These guys will try to take you for a ride. I took my car in to get my oil changed, and they told me it would cost $1,500 to get it working. They claimed that my brakes were bad, my transmission was bad, and that I needed a bunch of services done to be safe on the road. I couldn't believe it. Especially because I regularly service my car and take good care of it. I refused the additional services, but they still charged me $150 for an oil change and new air filter. To make it worse, I took the car to a trusted mechanic and drove about an hour away to have it looked at. The car is in great shape and all services are up-to-date. Their team were nice enough at first, but quickly laid on the sales ploy trying to get me to spend $1,500. I will never be back and will be sure to let others know. Yuck!!

Never feel cheated here everytime i talk to mike i feel like i made the right decision in coming here. Thanks everyone at Steve's.

They replaced the rack and pinion for my 2000 Mercury Sable. It took a little longer than expected (I believe due to weather delays). When the repair was completed, I noticed an oddity. The car was making squealing/grindy noises when the wheel was turned. The mechanics said nothing was wrong (what??). I took the car to my grandfather, a retired mechanic of his entire life. He told me the steering fluid had not settled through the new steering system, and the air pockets needed to be worked out to be safe. Furthermore, the mechanics, before ever turning my car on, should have manually turned the steering wheel to work the air pockets out of the system to avoid potentially damaging the system. Thankfully, the squealing/grinding noises was the system demanding the air pockets be gone, and after a day of careful driving the pockets worked themselves out and my car's steering is perfect. I wish Expertec would have finished the job, but for the most part did the job excellently.

My cars issue was complicated and they stuck with it until they got it right.
