I received a coupon for an oil change by mail. Even though I tried to decline, they insisted on doing a comprehensive inspection along with the oil change. I waited in the lobby for 45 min before a shuttle arrived, and it was several hours later until the car was finished. The only urgent items besides oil were replacing the air & cabin filters, which I do myself. Driving off the lot, the motor was loud. After opening the hood, I discovered their technicians had failed to reattach the air intake tube from the filter housing. They also left 2 of the 4 clips on the housing unattached. Later, when I changed the cabin filter, I discovered they had left the housing unclipped and unsealed. I talked to the manager who was apologetic and assured me this wasn't the way they do business. He promised to have a stern talking-to with his techs. I wasn't looking for it, but he never offered a refund, gift certificate, or anything to make it up to me. I just told him an apology and promise to do better would suffice. Besides, I wouldn't want them near my car again. It was sloppy work and could have hurt my car if I hadn't double-checked their work.

John, I'm truly sorry for the trouble regarding the air filters. Had you immediately brought the vehicle back to the shop we would have corrected the issue and beyond just apologizing we would have offered to do whatever it would take to make things right. It appears you chose to correct the issue yourself and when you called us to discuss your concerns you declined our offer for any further reconciliation saying an apology was enough, however, it would seem by your 1 star review that it wasn't enough. Worked with Dave. He is super professional and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. They got my truck in and out quickly and everything was done perfectly. I have a hard time trusting automotive places but I 100% trust these guys and will be returning with any other issues. Wish I could do more than five stars!

I’ve taken two vehicles to Steve’s in Sandy. I have never been more impressed by an auto repair shop. They are always friendly and communicated exactly what was going on in a timely manner. I recently went to a Chevy dealership for a check engine light. They wanted to charge 1600 for a cracked exhaust manifold. I brought it to Steve’s and within a day they replaced the manifold for less than 600 dollars! They sent me a detailed text inspection report with pictures of the crack in the manifold before calling me to discuss repair options. Fantastic job Steve’s, especially Mike who fixed my car! You’ve earned a lifetime customer

Went in to have my car looked at because the steering wheel shook when I drove it on the freeway. I was told via text by Randy that they didn't notice the shake, but found a blown shock, front brakes bad, needed new rotors, my tires were cupping, and I needed a tire rotate and balance. I said thank you and told him I was coming down to pick up my car and will talk it over with my husband. Randy then pressured me to leave my car there and let them fix it, all while talking to me in a condescending voice for wanting to pick up my car - and needing to talk it over w my husband first. I then asked for a price quote and when he gave it to me it was well over $1800. Tiffany at the front desk was awesome and I cannot say enough good things about her. But I walked away feeling like my car had several things that were "wrong with it" that weren't really wrong with it. The way Randy handled the situation with me made me not want to get my car fixed there at all. I took it to a different auto shop the next day and they told me my shocks were fine and all I needed was new brake pads and rotors on the front, and the out the door price including parts and labor was less than $500. I'm not sure if I had a bad experience, or if it was because I was a woman, or if Randy was having a bad day, but either way I was not a fan and will not be taking my car here in the future or recommending this place to anyone.

As I investigated your visit further I found based on our mechanic's report and the pictures he took of the issues on your vehicle (which we sent to you) that the repairs Randy recommended were appropriate, however, the explanation you received of why and how those repairs would have solved your initial concern of the steering wheel shaking was not adequate. I know this was a rough start to our new business relationship but I can promise that if you'll give us just one more chance we'll do whatever it takes to prove to you that we won't let this happen again! - Richard (Manager)

My radiator completely blew up and they sent their tow truck to pick up my Jeep. I thought it was the end of her. They got her fixed up in just a couple days and let me borrow a loaner so I could still get to work. They were great to work with and my service advisor kept me up to date with the repairs, estimate, and when it would be completed. I highly recommend Steve's and will be returning again when I need service.

I've been taking the work vehicle there for about 2 years now and they always guarantee their work. If I don't feel like something is right they'll triple check for me and explain what's happening. I've been very happy with their work and their prices are very good.

Great service from start to finish. Tiffany at the front counter is efficient and knowledgeable and I love being assigned a personal mechanic (usually it's Mike, who is awesome) and hearing from him directly regarding the service requirements my vehicle needs. I wish I'd found them years ago!

I took a vehicle I was looking at buying in for their pre-purchase inspection. They were quite thorough and also provided me with a shuttle ride back and forth. Very pleased with this service and will definitely be coming back.

Great place to take my car! I needed to emergently get new tires, but also needed to be at school. They were able to take care of my car while they both drove me, and picked me up from school. You can tell they really care about their customers.
