I came for an oil change a couple weeks ago and all went well with that. With the oil change they inspected my car for free and sent me a link with all of the data. They reported my a/c was in perfect condition. As soon as I left the shop I noticed my a/c would switch from blowing cold air to blowing hot air. I went to recharge my a/c and found that they never put the low pressure charging port cap back on my car. A new cap was only $6 and after buying the recharge total cost was about $60, (oil change was about $50) I fixed it myself but it was a waste of my time and money. I spent more fixing their damage than the cost of the oil change. Just wondering what else the forgot or messed up on my car.
Jenaya, we're sorry you didn't feel comfortable enough to call us with this concern rather than just leaving a Google review. We did reach out to you and left a couple of messages but were never able to connect. We value lifelong relationships with our clients and we know that begins with trust, so please forgive us for failing to earn yours. Regarding your comments, when we do an oil change we do in fact perform a general maintenance and safety inspection as recommended by the manufacturer of your vehicle. When we check the A/C, we simply turn it on and make sure it's working, and that's it. We don't remove the low pressure charging port cap because we don't need to do that to turn it on to make sure it's blowing cold. We're sorry you had an issue with your A/C and if you feel that issue could have been caused by us simply turning it on then please call me at 801-694-7936 and let's discuss it, thank you!
