They are great at alignment and all other mechanical issues. I've tried other mechanics but only go to Steve's now for my race and family cars. They have always been able to diagnose and fix a mechanical problem. 10 stars would be more appropriate.

I was due for emissions but I was also having a bad time with the cover shield under my car. It got torn up going over an unavoidable chunk of semi tire tread driving through Wyoming. They were able to get the correct parts and replace all the pieces so that it is firmly attached and once again doing it's job.

Steve’s provided fantastic service and very reasonable prices. They were cheaper and much more thorough than other auto shops I’ve been to in the past. I went for a simple oil change, and they gave me a complimentary inspection and tire rotation!

At first i was impressed by Steve’s Automotive, but the more i go there the more disappointed I am. They try to up-charge you for EVERYTHING so make sure you always get a second opinion. They tried to get us to pay $2000 to change our AC lines, but only one needed to be replaced & it only cost us $400. They also told us that all 4 tires needed to be changed even though one of them is literally brand new… like we got it a week ago, so i’m not sure they even checked all 4 tires. They say that they include a tire rotation with an oil change, but then didn’t rotate my tires. I’m so done bringing my car here. Also if you want a recommendation- go to Oil Rig, they have such GREAT customer service & don’t charge you an arm & a leg for everything. They’re super honest & just great!

Emma, I'm sorry you're disappointed with us. As there are 2 sides to every story the other half of this one is very important. 1) What you are calling "up-charges" are actually the maintenance required to keep your vehicle in great condition. Now, if you don't want to do that you're absolutely free to make that decision, however, it's the professional responsibility of our team members to make you aware of what is needed to do so. Some people prefer to visit shops that don't know how to properly maintain vehicles because they, of course, never suggest that you to spend money on proper maintenance. 2) Regarding the A/C system repair, it sounds like you only replaced one of the 2 A/C lines that are bad, the cheapest one. The other one is leaking intermittently and will eventually cause the system to stop working again. Your conclusion that the other line is not needed because the other shop didn't have the skill and/or equipment to detect the leak is simply an assumption, not a fact. 3) As far as the tires and the tire rotation, that sounds like a misunderstanding or miscommunication between our mechanic and the advisor, for which we absolutely owe you an apology. We can easily fix this by offering your next oil change for free at which time we will be happy to rotate the tires for you, or you're welcome to come by anytime and we'll rotate the tires at no charge.
