Went in for an alignment because Jones Car Care put new tires on and didn’t have the capability to do the alignment. They recommended Steve’s Automotive Specialist. They were very professional, friendly, and fast.

Found my new shop. Chance is the best and explains it all and the guys even show you what they are seeing and ask you what you'd like to do. No pushiness, just honesty and clarity. So appreciate this. *Have to admit I tried to poach Chance from you. Better hang onto him.*

We were on a family RV trip and got a flat on the freeway home. We pulled into this show and right away the team went above and beyond to double check their equipment to ensure it can handle the weight, checked the tire & let us know it could be repaired. An hour of work by Chris, the manager (I apologize I forget your name but you had an epic two color company branded shirt) & team. When they installed the tire they said there was no charge. It blew us away. That level of work and care to be told they just want us to be safe. This is a good place and I’m happy to write a review and recommend it.

I still don’t have my car and have to work in the morning, because when my partner talked to the staff he made it clear I only had $1500 to spend on the most important safety issues. They talked us into the tires and rotors and some other small things. My Dad’s mad at me for not letting him look at it first, I know more about automotive then my boyfriend, but I work full-time and have to provide as a single mom. I literally wanted to take it to multiple places to have it assessed, but my boyfriend wanted to take it to Steve’s cause we literally live in the neighborhood. And then here is the awesome part apparently during taking off my tires due to a lug nut that was locked an employee in getting it off destroyed one of the calipers so even though I was supposed to pick up my car on Friday, I now had to wait over the holiday weekend because they had to order the caliper. A part that they broke. And of course, now it is massively higher than the budget that I agreed to and the quote that I accepted. This is absurd. Oh, and they kept trying to push their financing options, which when I applied for them, they denied me. So they started work before I had been approved for financing. All I can say is I am extremely disappointed and I will pick up my car tomorrow and hopefully never have to deal with this place again. UPDATE: boyfriend picked the car up for me today and paid the extra money that was over what I approved for from the original pricing sheet. Then proceeded to come home and Yell at me to take this review down cuz he had been talking to them the whole time and I didn’t know what I was talking about, again I was never contacted for what was going on, they only talked with him and I OWN the car and did not ask or allow that. I had just asked him to take it in to get looked at and pick it up for me cuz my work schedule is insane. So not only is he in the doghouse and possibly out the door, since I’m the one that doesn’t know anything about cars 🙄, but I know enough to know as the owner I should have been given quote updates via email not verbally thru a 3rd party. That is just good business practice unless someone has talked to the owner who has given specific consent. I have still heard nothing from the actual shop. So apparently car parts aren’t the only thing they are great at breaking with a lack of professionalism.
