I would give 0 stars if possible. I used to love Steve’s, they had amazing techs and advisors, my son used to work there so we were lucky to meet them. But now it’s the opposite, took our Ford in for Rear Brakes just to have to bring them back because they were incorrectly installed. Got the Ford back and now less than a week later the brake line was pinched during installation cause a hole in the line, my husband lost all braking on the freeway going 70mph. Do not know what changed there but I’m screaming from the rooftops to every one I know to avoid them at all costs. They also told me my front sway bar was failing and needed replacement. My son who is a ASE certified mechanic inspected and said it still had plenty of safe driving life.
Katherine, I’m deeply concerned to hear about your husband losing braking ability on the freeway, and I’m grateful no one was injured. This is not the level of safety, workmanship, or communication I expect from our team, and I want to personally review what happened with both the brake repair and the sway bar recommendation. Please contact me directly at 801-694-7936 so I can better understand the situation and work toward a resolution. —Richard, Owner
