I came to Steve’s once, incredible service, came again and it was even better. Old lady here, we don’t trust anybody but I trust all of these guys. 20 out of ten ( and it’s not just the donuts)

Their service was professional, and I appreciated their honesty. However, they have pretty aggressive pricing. Especially for parts markup. I understand you can't just sell at MSRP. I know that running a shop is expensive and you have employees to pay. It makes sense to charge a $250 strut at $400 - $450. It's very high, but not totally unreasonable. But $540? That is bordering on outrageous. They may do good work, but they're not doing you any favors. Overall, I'm satisfied with their work, but if you have other shops that don't charge THAT high of a markup, then I would choose others. Steve's, please bring your parts markup down. I understand parts are not cheap, but they don't need to be THAT expensive either. Update: Thanks for the reply. My concern wasn’t about using quality parts. That is to be expected. It was specifically about the size of the markup relative to typical retail pricing. Alternative part options weren’t presented upfront, and most customers reasonably assume the quoted price already reflects a fair balance of quality and cost. I’m satisfied with the work itself. My feedback is about pricing transparency for future customers.

Ive been going to steves for a little over a year with 3 diffrent car the first car was a mess and my dad felt they did their best at a decent price but this last time I was there they did an oil change and cv axle they had it over night which was fine I picked it up and got it home the next morning I go out to get in and notice a deep dent my my passenger tail light not to mention my car was still clicking when turning I call steves speak to the manager about everything I go down for him to take pictures and surprise they are not responsible for the damage so I paid another shop to fix what I had already paid these guys not super happy with them right now

When you brought the concern to us, our manager took the time to review both the security camera footage and the vehicle inspection photos from before and after the service. Based on that review, we were unfortunately unable to verify that the damage to the passenger-side tail light occurred while your vehicle was in our care. I understand that hearing that was upsetting, and I completely recognize how discouraging it is to feel stuck with damage you didn’t expect. That said, we also hear your concern about the clicking noise still being present after the CV axle repair. Having to take your car to another shop after already paying for a repair is not something we ever want a customer to experience, and I’m truly sorry that’s how this turned out for you. I live in West Valley and used to go to the Hillside Good Year by me for repairs but when management changed the atmosphere changed as well from caring to greedy. Now I travel to Steve's Automotive in Sandy because my family recommended them. I've used their services a number of times and never regretted it. These guys are not looking to rip you off or tell you a bunch of crap you're not needing like most places. Prices are fair, staff is professional and they have my trust and business.

Steve's Automotive seems to care about their customers and the quality of work they do on your car at a fair price, what more can you ask? I've only used them once so far. I have a 10 year old Mercedes that I love and have always taken it to the Mercedes dealership for service, but they have gotten a little more expensive than they need to be, so I will try Steve's Automotive for my next service. My first visit was pleasant and affordable. I have a good friend who owned a used car dealership for many years and he was the one that recommended Steve's Automotive.

Came in because I didn't want to go to Honda. Steve's team got it done in half the time and at a reasonable price. Gave me some suggestions of what to do (including maintenance schedules for my next service), but no pressure to get it done then. Van is running great...will use them again!

The service was fast and well done! I appreciate the kindness of being offered an Uber to go home and come back. Additionally, they fixed the splash guard under my vehicle without that being part of the service being performed. I appreciate the kindness!
