We paid about 10x the price we paid for a repair at another shop. On top of that, the other shop confirmed that Steve's purposefully destroyed a part that we denied repairs on.

I recently purchased a 2011 Acura MDX with 139,000 miles on the odometer. I brought the car to Steve's Automotive Specialists to have the timing belt, water pump and serpentine belt changed. The service I received was outstanding and the work was completed in a timely fashion and at a very reasonable price. It was the first time I used Steve's and I will definately use Steve's again. I am a very satisfied customer.

Absolutely avoid this shop at all costs. I took an older truck to them (1994 chevy silverado) to have the starter replaced. I knew what the issue was and told them exactly what needed to be replaced. They looked up the parts and quoted me around $400. Without looking at the part, they told me there were two options, and worst case scenario it would be about $500. They contacted me later and let me know that the parts were more than they thought and would actually be $900 for the service. I told them that I didn't want the work done, i could get a part from AutoZone for $150 and that I would unscrew the three bolts to replace the starter myself. At that time they informed me that they had already removed the part and wanted to know what price i would be willing to pay. I told them that i wouldn't pay more than what i was quoted for. There was no reason that replacing a starter should cost that much. They agreed and replaced the part for me. This whole interaction felt dishonest. The only reason i was not fleeced was because i knew what work needed to be done, and i knew that I could do it on my own. This was 3 months ago, and the starter has already gone bad. I will not take it back there. I have taken this to a mechanic that I trust and have been quoted. $400 for parts and labor. This is what a starter should cost for my truck.

We are here on vacation, came in for an alignment and they were very prompt and courteous. I will recommend them to my friends in Utah.

Heard some of the employees at the front desk talking while I was waiting for my car. Just listening to them tells me that they know cars. Very thorough. Will come back when needed
