I had multiple problems with my car that were no easy fix and Steve’s Automotive Specialist were able to help me out less than a day when they said it would be done by Friday night and I was just blown away with how helpful they were!! Amazing people that know what they’re doing!!

This is by far the best experience I've ever had with an auto shop. Randy was super awesome and called me with all concerns and explained things in a way I could understand .They sent pics of things over text message and gave me multiple options. Again I can't say enough good about my experience. I will definitely be coming back!!!

These guys are AMAZING. My car had been giving me some issues lately and acting up, I took it in to Steve’s Automotive because they offered a FREE preliminary. Which I have to say is great, not many places nowadays do that. I waited in the comfy lobby, visiting with the receptionist while they took my car back. She was quite knowledgeable and kind. They even have a toy area for little ones to play while your waiting. What.....I know.....Like I said amazing. Their advisor came out and went over in full detail what was wrong with my car, with even pictures and report. He was patient with me making sure I understood everything and went over price options ranging from cost effective parts to premium parts with a lifetime warranty on parts AND labor. I take pride in my vehicle and want it to last me a long time so I went with the premium even though it was a bit more pricy. But as they say, you get what you pay for. And the lifetime warranty is just icing on the cake. My car runs AMAZING now and they kept me updated throughout the whole process. All I can say is if you live in the Clearfield area, and you need car repairs, go to Steve’s Automotive. They know what they are doing. Thanks Steve’s.

I have had nothing but headaches with this shop. I have had major work done by Steve’s three times. On the first occasion, my car overheated in Toole, 30+ miles from home; they had to tow me back to the shop, at 9:00 at night, and I lost my car for an additional three days. The second time, after major work, my car overheated and died in Cedar City. The head gasket ruptured, and the engine seized. I had to sell the car for junk. Finally, in May 2018, I had an Oxygen sensor fail on my 2016 Nissan. They replaced it, charging me close to $100 more than it should have cost. In January, the sensor malfunctioned; back to the shop. After keeping my car all day, I was told that the sensor was working fine. I picked up my car, and left for a trip to Las Vegas two days later. The “check engine” light came on. Coincidentally, I brought my car to have my smog inspection completed (car registered in Vegas). It failed! Why? The oxygen sensor failed again! Now, I would have to drive back to Salt Lake to have Steve’s fix it AGAIN, as it was under warranty! So, they FINALLY fixed it, and it was back to Las Vegas to smog test the vehicle. It finally passed. Now, let’s assess the cost to me: 1) Three full days without my car, as it sat in the shop; 2) Failed smog test - $26.00 3) Retest for smog - $ 26.00 4) DMV registration late charge - $60.00 Their offer to make amends? NOTHING! Their only response? “Well, we do our best!” Their best is not good enough! If they’re not taking twice the normal time to fix something, they’re trying to up sell you something you don’t need; like when they told me that I needed front and back brakes and rotors. I took it to another shop, which told me that I only needed front pads, and that the rotors were absolutely fine. I feel like a fool for trusting them as much as I did! Never again? “Gephardt Approved”?? I think Gephardt needs to step up his game! Steve’s Is making him look bad! Addendum: The owner (Richard?) wrote the lame response below. Did he not read the entire content of my review? Why is he focusing on just the oxygen sensor, when this is a snowball of problems? Is this an attempt to make me, and anyone else who complains, out to be crackpots or whiners? There is a problem, here. Big! Huge!

I've had both our cars serviced for over a year now with Steve's for regular maintenance and repairs. They're honest and pay attention to detail. They send you reports via text that include full inspection results AND pictures with comments so you can see what they're talking about and are not just making stuff up. They provide value for the money you spend and their shuttle service is great. I will continue to bring my cars here for maintenance and repairs. Steve's knows how to keep our car in best shape possible.
