The staff at the Clearfield location are amazing. I went in for a simple oil change and was given the 5 start treatment. They did a full check on my vehicle to make sure all was good. My granddaughter loved the play area they had available. Would recommend to everyone looking for somewhere to go.

I first visited this location as I'd just recently returned to the area after being away for nigh a decade, and I needed to have my car inspected for state registration. The staff here completed the inspection and gave recommendations for service based on maintenance and the mileage of my vehicle. I scheduled a follow-up appointment for a couple of weeks after my initial visit to complete some of the recommended work. However, approximately one week later, my check engine light came on and I requested they scan the vehicle to determine the issue. They completed the scan and recommended I bring the vehicle back the following morning (as the scan occurred at the end of the business day). I dropped the car off early the next morning, and they gave me a shuttle ride back to my home. They called within the hour with request for authorization for further testing and then called again with the recommendations and pricing for repairs. Repairs were completed quickly and I had the vehicle back by the end of the same day. One of the things I like the most about their business is the detailed description of issues, recommended service and the reasons for the service. They send a digital copy of all of this via text or e-mail every time anything is noted or recommended. This is immensely helpful, both for documentation and research purposes, especially if anyone is, like myself, somewhat mechanically challenged. Ultimately, the entire staff is knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and thorough, at least in my experience. I would highly recommend them for the quality of the work, the warranty on the service done, and the respect for their customers and knowledge of the employees.

The people are really wonderful. Not only do they talk to you with kindness, they don’t treat you like you’re incompetent. They took the time to explain what the issue was, as well as break down the new parts that were needed. They make you feel comfortable knowing that you’re not getting ripped off. They also have a wonderful waiting area with complimentary drinks, and a place for the children to be entertained. Which is huge when you have small kids. I would absolutely recommend them!

AVOID Steve's Auto Specialists in Clearfield. You're aware of places that do unnecessary work, then tell you there is another issue that's really causing the problem after they're already into you for $1300. This is one of those!!! Also, checked with the different Ford dealerships, Steve's literally charged double the dealership for the work. Stupid me, out $1300 and my truck runs exactly the same as before and still has engine light on. If you're looking for an honest, responsibly priced shop, this is NOT It. It's worth the post if I can save someone this hassle.

the people are really nice, they will even talk to you while you wait, and they always make sure while your waiting your as comfortable as possible. there and even complimentary drinks and snacks all and all their an amazing company I would recommend them to everyone I can. GREAT JOB GUYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Steve's auto is the first shop I've ever been to where I was offered a free 48 inspection. More than that, after the inspection I received a text with a link showing pictures of all the points they checked (tires, brakes, fluids), along with explanations as to where things should be. Even after picking up my car, they further educated me onwhat they found. I was informed that some points just need monitor and don't require changes. Every other auto shop would have told me to open my wallet and replace everything. I really felt like Steve's is focused on customer retention as they weren't going after my money, but my loyalty, which they've earned. I also really love the free shuttle system they have, making it convenient for those that have work. Thanks Steve's for showing me that not all autoshops are there just for money!
