Took my car to the Sandy location with a major knock. I knew the repairs would be major, but they replaced timing belt, full tune-up and spark plugs, and charged over 4k and almost a month of having the car. I picked it up and the knock was still there. Despite paying extra to have the engine head pulled, they repaired a destroyed engine then the next day stated that "that was a different sound" and preceded to tell me it'll be an additional $6200 for a USED engine. Also said lifetime warranty and AFTER I paid, he stated a limited 3 year on parts. VERY deceptive. Took it to Mazda. Can get a factory engine for same price and less than a day they said the engine needed replaced and the repairs done were done by mistake and should have not been suggested. Now I have a car sitting unused with a blown engine and $4k worth of new parts that are worthles Sent emails, phone messages and not a single response in MONTHS. Also left my car full of grease and garbage. Didn't even wipe it down after having it almost a month. Crooks and bad business. G, I'm sorry that you have a car you can't drive especially after spending that much money. Obviously it seems we've really upset you, however, to say you've reached out to us and we haven't responded in months seems a little bit impossible since we're open 10 hours a day and 5 days a week. As far as a dealership mechanic making himself the hero by telling you all the things we did wrong, certainly doesn't mean or prove anything. That's why a judge never makes a decision based on comments alone when one person accuses another, they look at the facts of the case and after careful consideration make a judgement. That mechanic didn't see your car before we made the repairs we did so it's impossible for him to accurately judge whether those repairs were needed or not. I do apologize, this is no doubt a tough situation but I promise it can be resolved but only if you're willing to gather and consider all the facts.
