CROOKED THEIVES. Wanted $770+ for a repair that a shop down the road did for $185. Yes, tried to overcharge me $585 for a $185 repair. Luckily I asked my dad (a mechanic out of state) and he said that's ludicrous they're trying to rip you off. After I told them a shop down the road would do it for a fraction of that e doubled down and offered to do addition work for $1100.. which included parts my dad just replaced and are perfectly fine. Yeah, don't give them your credit card. Funny how their reply tried to focus on they wanted to do more than a 25% partial repair. A) that was the only thing wrong so its a 100% repair. They didn't bother looking at the other parts or they would have noticed they were practically new. B) they ignore the fact that they offered to do that "25%" repair for the $770. That portion of the repair costs me $185 at the reputable axis driveline in Bountiful. Do the math, it doesn't add up. They trying to rip off uneducated customers.
Michael, we're sorry you feel that way about us, however, we feel it's vitally important to make professional recommendations and we'd never feel right only doing 25% of a repair. If you found a shop happy to only do 25% of the repair, does that make us "crooked thieves", or does that reveal something about their skill and judgement? We don't get to choose what your vehicle needs to be safe and reliable, we can only tell you what we find, and then you're free to choose what to do with that information. We respect your right to only partially fix your vehicle and we reserve the right to conduct our business professionally and make sound recommendations, we wish you the best! - Richard (Owner) 801-694-7936
