Manufacturers recommend a thorough vehicle inspection every several thousand miles ranging from 5K to 10K, depending on the manufacturer, to make sure your vehicle is safe to drive and this inspection also includes an oil change. Quick lube shops have taught consumers that an "oil change" is all that is needed and anything else is unnecessary, this simply is not true.
