We have a car with electric seats. It stopped working going backwards. My husband said it was probably a bad switch. They came back and said it needed a new motor. 850.00. I went and got a second d opinion, it was a switch. Less than a hundred dollars. This place would have gladly taken almost a thousand dollars. So, either they are crooked or not experienced. Update in owners response: When we were there with the mechanic outside waiting for him. He was very argumentative about it being the motor. He absolutely insisted. It was getting uncomfortable enough for me that I had to leave my husband's side and sit in the other car. The only reason we didn't change it ourselves was we didn't have the correct tool. My husband insisted it made zero sense that it could be the motor, and your guy was letting him know he was completely wrong. Well, your guy was completely wrong sir. I will not be back and I have let many folks know not to go there either and let them know the honest place to go.
Jill, I'm truly sorry you felt you had to leave this kind of review about our shop. Based on your experience it appears you have every right to be upset. It also seems fair to point out the fact that in your comments you've made a substantial assumption. Since we didn't fix the seat you really don't know if we would have 'gladly taken almost a thousand dollars' or if we would have called you back and said, 'Jill, we have great news, once we got into the repair we discovered it was just a bad switch and it's going to cost less than a hundred dollars'. I respectfully suggest this would have been the most likely outcome for the fact that more than 90% of our clients are willing to refer their friends and family to us because they trust us and because of our experience. I would very much like an opportunity to prove this to you and your husband so please call me and let's discuss it, thank you! Richard (Owner) 801-694-7936
