While I appreciate the fact that my oil change was free due to being a healthcare worker during the pandemic, the guy who came to talk to me basically told me my brand new car needed all of these services that I just had done about 3 months ago. He was very pushy, I tried to tell him I didn’t need those and he proceeded to push. The front desk lady was very sweet but when you offer a free service don’t try to up sale almost $700 worth of work. Again, thank you for the free oil change but maybe have a refresher course on customer service.

Courtney, first of all thank you for being on the front lines during these past couple of months working to help keep our community safe. Secondly, I'm very sorry to hear that you felt our advisor was pushy. Our goal is simply to advise and educate our clients on what their vehicle needs to stay in top condition and do everything we can to help make sure it's safe and reliable. I've found in my experience you never have to push anyone to make a wise decision once they have all the facts. Something to consider is that if we had never serviced your vehicle prior to this visit then our team wouldn't have known what maintenance you had or hadn't done. On newer vehicles it's sometimes impossible to tell for sure if certain services have been performed, so in these cases we recommend them based on mileage. Usually, if a client has already done those services they tell us, we make a note in our records, and that's the end of the matter. We strive for our clients to have a 5 star experience every time they come in and it sounds like in your case there must have been some kind of misunderstanding or miscommunication because obviously that didn't happen. I get my oil changed here. I've been coming for about a year. They are kind, professional, and do a good job. I'm editing to add that sometimes they are pushy if I'm being honest. Andy and the front desk girl are very kind and not pushy though. They do a complete inspection of my car and email the report with pictures of my cars parts that are not doing well. (Kind of like a car physical),

In the past we had a garage we took our cars to for service for over 15 years and always great personable service. Unfortunately, the owner died of cancer and his business closed. Because of it we were in a situation where we need to find a automotive repair shop to service our vehicles. We went to Steve’s automotive specialist because of the high praise their customers give them. We had to see for ourselves if our experience dealing with them would be personable and fair. I have met and spoke several times with Andy who is over the service center. He does his best to understand our needs and determine what repairs are needed and if those repairs would be within our budget. He and his crew will go over the recommend services that are needed and explain why it needs and how it would keep your vehicle running reliably for many years to come. He also provided us with a list of recommended services that should be done on our vehicle in order of importance along with the prices. Andy has proven that taking care of his customers is his number one priority and if we have any issues or concerns, he will listen and is willing to work with us and take appropriate action if necessary We highly recommend checking them out when you vehicle are need of attention.
