I will never go to another auto shop after the amazing experience and customer service they've shown. We've taken out cars there for a few years now but it was this recent example of something that wasn't done right and the way they went out of their way to fix it that won me over. They handled the issue quickly, professionally and with excellent customer service. Thank you, Shane and Jeremy!

Brought my car in for a loud noise while idling and asked if they'd check out why my electric locks weren't working on 2 of my doors as well, they called to let me know that the noise was from my serpentine tensioner and told me it'd be $800. I expressed my concerns about the cost but they said it was essential, so I gave them the go ahead. They failed to mention that $200 of that quote was to diagnose the issue with my door locks. The locks were a minor inconvenience, so if I had any idea it would be that much, I would have asked them to nix the diagnosis and save myself $200 and them a few hours of their time. I've never had a mechanic fail to communicate how much a diagnostic would cost before going through with it, or have the lack of common sense and decency to assume that most people (especially a young broke grad student who's driving an old car like myself) would not want to go through with an expensive diagnostic for something non-essential. Just overall not impressed with such a poor level of communication and failure to break down the cost of all the work they were quoting me for until after I was billed.

Kelsey, we work very hard to avoid miscommunication but the simple truth is that sometimes it still happens. The service at Steve’s has always been Awesome, starting from the time you walk in the door, from the front staff to the mechanics in the back. The prices have been fair, and I found them to be better then dealership prices. I will always take my vehicle to Steve’s, and I recommend you do as well.

Couldn't be more disappointed and livid at the same time! Had my BMW towed to them after it seized up and blew out tons of white, smelly smoke! Gave him all the information about what happened. He called a few days later and told me it had a catastrophic engine failure and needed a new engine along with other things for a total of $7K!!!!!! I only paid $5K for it, so I was not about to repair it. Called a scrap yard and 2 hours before they took it away, another mechanic looked at it - and actually DROVE it- and said it was the reservoir and pump for the Anti Freeze and there is Nothing Wrong With The Engine!!!!!!!! Glad I didn't pay $7K to repair what wasn't even wrong only to still have to do the antifreeze pump and reservoir !! Glad I got a 2nd opinion before throwing it away and getting next to nothing for it! The repair bill with be around $500! That's FIVE HUNDRED, not SEVEN THOUSAND!!!! How can you even call yourself a BMW Repair Shop?!?!?!?!?! WORST DIAGNOSIS EVER.

Working with Steve's was honestly the BEST auto shop experience I've ever had. They were on the phone for hours working with my warranty company. They explained everything to me. They sent updates with pictures showing what was going on, what they needed to do, and estimates on how much everything would cost. They were very nice and fixed my car up fast. Anytime my car has a problem from now on, I'm taking it to them. Thanks Steve's

Do not go to this place I had them do suspension and control arm units and supposedly the guy that did the repair had 15 years experience and didn’t know to use washers on aftermarket parts on the control arms we literally almost died merging onto the freeway if it wasn’t for a bump on the merge and knock the control arm off me and my family could have been dead the the mans name I believe was Mike Smith Michael Smith on the paper it’s said M Smith so Whoever works there that starts his first name with the M and his last name is Smith do not let that guy touch your vehicle whatsoever 15 years experience but doesn’t know to use washer on aftermarket parts for the bolts it’s only common sense but then yeah he claims to have 15 years experience these guys are a joke

Sergio, we're sorry your vehicle broke down and at the same time we're very happy that no one was hurt. I don't blame you for being upset, I would be too. Breaking down out on the road is never a pleasant experience regardless of the reason. The fact is that when your vehicle broke down we offered to tow it for free and to correct any issues related to the work we performed for free and you chose not to allow us to do that, so the only other thing we could do was to refund all of the money that you paid for the repair, which we did.
