My moms car a 2000 Honda Accord was running like a million bucks then went to this shop to get a oil change and had them check the fluids while they were at it. They told her the transmission needed to be replaced and it was leaking like crazy keep in mind it never had it leaked before.. She looked underneath the car and the mechanic said “you won’t see the leaking fluid”Quoted her 4000$ to fix it., the check engine light also came on a mile down the road..when it never had that issue before she took it there. it’s just sad that there are crooks out there like this that would take advantage of someone who don’t know anything about cars.. long story short we took it to a different shop and the transmission is fine so I wouldn’t recommend the Clearfield location go else where so you don’t fall victim to these crooks!

I can't say enough good about the work done here. The tire shop accidentally stripped my hub on my Volkswagen Jetta and it was towed in after hours. They called me first thing in the morning, reviewed the issue, called back with the assessment and sent photos and documentation by text. My car was ready the same day at 11 AM and I was on my way. Steve's Automotive Specialists will be my first (and hopefully only) call when I need service for any car. Thanks all!

I love these folks! They run a tight ship and whoever you interact with will be easy to work with. I use Steve's because they are thorough. If they recommend a diagnostic test on a more complicated issue, it's worth it–I've ended up saving a lot of time and money. Steve's uses an SMS based system to update on your cars progress and approve/disapprove any services. That has been extremely convenient for me while I'm working.

Great service and always so friendly. They do their best to give you options on what work is a priority to get done and what can wait.

Great customer flattery! But when you pay over a grand for a repair that isn't fixed the first...or fourth time!, you take your loss. If you're shopping around, please take this shop off your list of consideration.
