I went there for an oil pan replacement due to the drain plug being stripped. They replaced the oil pan but after that I proceeded to get an oil light that kept coming on which means I have less than a quart of oil in my engine. It wasn't just the low light. It was the out of oil red light. I took it back. They said they didn't see any leaks and it's just an old engine and over consumption issue. But this only became a problem once they had worked on the oil pan and I've never had an oil over consumption issue with my engine before. And now I have to refill my oil multiple times a month just so that it doesn't run out of oil. I've had to fill it up full more than five times since I got my oil changed and I should still have 3,000 miles before I need a new oil change
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how concerning it is to see an oil warning light after a repair, especially when it wasn’t a problem you noticed before. Our team thoroughly inspects for leaks after completing an oil pan replacement, and in your case no external leaks were found. Unfortunately, internal oil consumption can sometimes develop or become more noticeable after unrelated repairs, particularly on higher-mileage engines. That being said, we never want a customer to leave feeling uncertain about the condition of their vehicle. We’d be glad to re-check your vehicle and perform additional diagnostic tests to help determine the source of the oil loss and discuss options with you.
