Price gouging is insane here. Was quoted $300 more compared to other quotes from any other shop around the area. Quality cost, but greed doesn’t pay.

Super good shop, definitely better than a dealership. Called first and the gentleman was super helpful and fast in setting up a time same day to bring my 2016 Focus ST in. The techs got the work done in a timely manner, and the bill was a reasonable price which is nice especially these days when other places burn a hole in your wallet. Will definitely be bringing my vehicle here for any future work.

I had an engine light turn on in my truck, so I bought a code reader to diagnose the issue. The reader indicated that I either needed a new catalytic converter or there was an exhaust leak. Before driving over to Steven's, I called to confirm if they offered exhaust work, and they confirmed that they did. I dropped off my truck and explained verbally that I needed a diagnosis to confirm the issue with the exhaust and also wanted them to check why they were there. I mentioned that they could also bleed my brakes, as I was having trouble doing it myself after changing the brake calipers. They said it would take a few hours, and I agreed. However, after a few hours they charged me $160 to bleed the brakes, which took only fifteen minutes. They didn't fix anything and said I needed a new brake caliper for $580, and when I asked about the exhaust, they said they couldn't help me with that. I felt like I wasted half a day and $160 for nothing. They also managed to turn off my engine light, which I could have done myself with my code reader, but now the light is back on. It's frustrating because I'm not sure what they actually did to help with the initial problem. This experience, combined with a previous bad encounter, has left me feeling disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this auto mechanic unless you don't mind feeling rushed and paying for unsatisfactory service.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! THEY PERMANENTLY RUINED MY BRAKES AND SCAMMED ME WITH THE "WARRANTY" THAT DOESN'T ACTUALLY COVER ANYTHING!!!!!!!! Let me start by saying, I have never written a review before. Much less a bad one. But Steve's automotive RUINED my car and I feel obligated to let others know. I spent over $1500 on new brakes just to have to spend MORE money to get them removed and new ones replaced (which will be around $2K... totaling $3.5k to deal with this nightmare). Steve's automotive will ruin your car. I got my brakes "fixed" by Steve's automotive back in January. Ever since then, they have been squeaking EXTREMELY LOUD. I understand some squeaking is normal, but these brakes squeak so loud I have gotten neighbor complaints. The sound is just over 100 decibels. This is NOT NORMAL. When we got the brakes replaced in January, I was assured that any issue would be covered warranty. When I noticed the squeaking breaks, I let them know and they assured me the squeaking would stop over time. This is not true. The brakes actually got worse and the squeaking continues to get louder. My NEIGHBORS have complained to me about this as the noise is so loud it wakes the whole neighborhood up in the morning or night. It is humiliating. I again went to Steve's and let them know the issue. They got them looked at and told me the brakes were "normal" and that the squeaking was just something I had to deal with as the warranty does not cover noises. I would understand if the squeaking is minimal. But the volume at which my brakes squeak should absolutely call for replacement. There is clearly an issue that Steve's refuses to admit to. All they have offered to do is spray my brakes which is at best a bandaid to the issue. Ultimately I know--because I have been dealing with this squeaking ever since my brakes were initially installed--that this "magic spray" will do nothing. it is only buying them time until the warranty is expired and they don't have to "deal" with their problem anymore. TL;DR: This place installed new brakes on my car that squeak at over 100 decibels. They will not cover the cost of new brakes becuase "noises are not covered under the warranty." I AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED and have been met with short and irritated customer service anytime I call in.

Steves automotive has very knowledgeable and helpful people. They were able to diagnose something I had questions about quickly and efficiently. While I didn’t end up having them do the work because I didn’t need it done urgently, they were very helpful. They even took me back into the shop and showed me on the car exactly what they were talking about which I appreciated a lot.
