These guys are good at what they do. They compete with the dealerships and their service and pricing are comparible. I have the upmost confidence in their quality of work. But they do not have your best intrest in mind. This is not the place to go to if you are just wanting to pass emissions and ride your car until it dies. I came in with an older car worth maybe $2500 fixed. Just needed a $400 part and 2-3 hours labor to pass emissions. After their 80 point inspection they come back with a $6200 estimate of 8 more repairs and were more than excited to knock all that out for me and expecting me to say yes. If a 85 year old man walks in for a new pair of orthapedic shoes, they would convince him he needs a new titanium hip and act like his best friend for doing so.

Loud noise was coming from the rear of my car. I suspected Pinion Preload loosening. I drove to this shop to ask for diagnosis. They suggested the need to do thorough inspection using microphone &/or camera under the car and needed a few hours (WHAT ??????????). Initially I was not convinced (about their ask for time) and I was dead sure it's from rear of my car. However Their approach was RIGHT! and it found problem in the wheel/tires and they fixed it in 1 day. They not only diagnosed problem right but also saved me 000 of dollars which was almost the case per another shop in Sandy. They also shared pictures as soon as they diagnosed, and charged me total $26 for tire rotation/inspection instead of an HAL/FULL HOUR of labor, they said not immediately but attention is needed in some other area which was tires. (See picture), Shane advised to replace 2 tires , as with imbalanced tires differential can go kaput, He recommended couple of brands as well . (Note: Tires didn't have any visible wear but Shane's diagnose proved there was cupping - causing loud noise ) I went ahead and chose to install not two but 4 new tires at Steve's. It's been 200 miles since then and my Car is quiet and smoother like never before. I will highly recommend this place, specially Shane, and Dave for their repair expertise, Honesty and straight forwardness. Debra not only kept me in loop via text/email but also sent me multiple quotes for multiple brands of tires, I recommend her for customer friendliness and kindness. This might be one of the best automotive repair shops in Sandy.

I have an older car.. a Toyota Sequoia. I had a check engine light on and had to have some work done and a friend referred me to Steve's Automotive in Sandy. They had the work done on time, and they were very fair with the price. I was very impressed with their knowledge and their customer service as well. Everybody was so kind and helpful! I especially appreciate David and Debbie, and their hands on approach. Thank you guys!!

I'm new to the area and decided to try Steve's Automotive. Right when I came in they greeted me and they were very nice. They got back to me in a timely manner to let me know what was going on with the car and what the estimated cost would be. They sent me an inspection report to my phone which was great so that I could see what needs to be taken care of on it. I will be taking my car back to them in the future.

The staff is amazing and wonderful. They will answer any questions you have. They go up and over the top to make sure you are happy and satisfied with all you car needs. Definitely recommend to anyone for their car needs!!
