I have been to Steve's Automotive three times and had one great repair done the first time. The other two times I was here, I was skeptical given their extremely high estimates and went elsewhere to have the repairs done. Both if these estimates ended up being for functional parts of my vehicle and I do feel that if more care was given during the free inspection, the correct issues could have been diagnosed. Unfortunately, both times during the free inspections, parts of my car were damaged, this included a window tint and an HID bulb. I left a review and the owner quickly left his personal number in hopes to resolve my dissatisfaction. After calling him back, I quickly noticed the demeanor of the owner was much more pleasant than what I had experienced with another employee back at the shop. After discussing the estimates given to me from Steve's Automotive with the owner, it was understood where the errors had occurred and the parts were replaced at no cost to myself. I have chosen not to have the recent work I need done to be completed by Steve's Automotive; but after talking with the owner, I am willing to consider comparing their estimates to other shops.

The quality of work done on the vehicle is good. They are quick and you can usually get an appointment the next day. Better communication on their pricing would avoid some issue I had. They have various warranty levels, and usually the estimates are of the longest warranty; so pricing seems higher. Knowing this now, their pricing is on par with the Subaru dealership - which in my experience has been great. Glad I now have two reputable shops I return to.

The overall service was great, was very impressed with the explanations given by Mike. Although I was thankful for being given a loaner car while my car was repaired, I did not anticipate that I would need to deal with a whole evening of complications as a result of the poor condition of the loaner vehicle. Around 530pm, after the store had closed I was heading home and 3/4 of the way home, the loaner vehicle overheated. I pulled off the freeway into a gas station and the car spit out fluid everywhere. I was able to put in some coolant and limp the vehicle back to home, but it had now lost power and was only going 25-30mph. Once home, the car leaked fluid all over my driveway and had a difficult time starting and idling. Mike prioritized my personal car and got it done as soon as possible. Luckily, I was able to rearrange my schedule to get the vehicle back to the location...and the car ran without overheating. Overall, I'm impressed with the service on my car, but I cannot forgive the ordeal I went through due to the loaner car they decided to give me.

I've always come in to great customer service and great pricing for services. Ultimately I've saved plenty by coming to Steve's, and I know they stand by their work. Highly recommend.

The staff and services at the clearfield location were superb! I felt very comfortable with the billing consultation when the Desk Receptionist was thuroughly explaining the details to me and the actual labor on my car. I know I can trust them! The Desk Receptionist by the name of Brittanie was so terrific helping me out when I went there my first time. I would recommend this shop to the whole world! Give the whole staff a raise! Thank you!
