Been going here for years! Both locations are great. Honest people that do great work.

I visited them earlier this year to get some work done and I cannot recommend them enough. They are friendly, family culture oriented. They helped me feel very comfortable with what they were doing by supplying me with a link to my car's profile, and were really good at putting updates onto that profile. The work they did was well done and they communicated with me through the whole process. Steve's Automotive is bar none, the best business I have had the pleasure to work with. I recently went back for an oil change and they fit me in and remembered who I was. I'm excited to work with them in the future, and suggest you pay them a visit!

I paid these guys $150.53 to do a "Health Inspection" on my 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser. This inspection showed me that these guys charge 3 to 4 times more than what I could get the same work done at a Chrysler dealership! (i.e. timing belt: Steve's - $2315.97; Chrysler dealership - $587-$673). The personnel at Steve's are rude and inefficient. I would never go there again nor recommend their overpriced "service"!!!

I have been taking my vehicles to Steve's since they opened their location in Orem. It can be difficult to find an auto shop that has both competent and honest technicians. Steve's has both! Whenever I have an issue their technicians find the problem and resolve it quickly. I also use Steve's for regular oil changes. Gary (the guy in the office) is awesome! He is always friendly and actually listens to my, often times, odd descriptions of the issue. He is very knowledgeable and provides detailed descriptions of the potential causes and likely remedies for every issue (I've got a couple older cars that need a lot of help). Their pricing is fair and in line with the quality of service they provide. I recommend "my car guy" to everyone.

Can we talk? I came to Steve's Automotive the first time out of sheer desperation. I'd been in the Orem area about a year and was dreading the day I'd have to find a legit mechanic, (you know the drill). I'd been using a retired shop teacher that my landlord recommended on my older Dodge truck and that had worked out okay. Problem was how long it would take to get it back. I think I originally came in for a tire rotation because I couldn't find anyone else to do it in my time frame. Well, the tech pointed out (literally) where I had some BAD wear on the back tires, steel belt peek-a-boo time, not good! They gave me a great deal on a set of new tires and my trip was safe and saved. There have been at least half a dozen times or more since then that the great guys at Steve's Automotive in Orem (with Gary & Bronson leading the charge) have saved my cookies. This is a big thing. I'm the widow of an ace mechanic, truly. These guys here are NOT 'parts-changers' - they're diagnosticians! They know their stuff, they talk straight, and (ladies) they didn't treat me like I don't have a brain. Never felt like I was being taken in any way, PLUS, what other mechanics shop mails out actual, worthwhile COUPONS on services - and I'm not talking the typical oil change either, real engine work! Headlights & wiring, tires, something special which I can't remember now on my Volvo, and, yes, even oil changes - Orem's Steve's Automotive has your back! I'll be moving 20 miles down south soon, but my car guys will still be in Orem! <3
