Very nice and efficient techs, kept me informed about the progress, difficult Old truck to work on Nate was very helpful , they are honest people, I believed the fan clutch needed to be replaced but they said it was fine, didn't need to be replaced

Buyer beware. Expertec has been bought out and the people who own it now seem pretty shady. They charged me $96.00 for an oil change that I was quoted at another shop using the same oil and filter $58.00. They said I needed new rear shocks at $560.00 for 2 shocks when I had them replaced only 15 months ago. They tried to tell me shocks only last a year. Keep in mind this is a car that we probably only drive 10 to 15 thousand miles a year and only on paved roads. I am just saying this isn't the Expertec people have always used.

Each time I go to Steve’s the staff are friendly and helpful. The last time I was in, they found a problem with my transmission. Nate went out of his way to find the best solution. Very impressed.

I was referred to Steve Automotive and started with them doing my oil changes. I had an electrical issue with my brakes and asked Nate Hodges, the store manager to look into it and had found the problem right away and was able to get it fixed with not much time. Because of the trust I found with Steves Auto, I knew this was the place I needed to get my tires. I had gotten an estimate from another place, but was educated by “Nate” about the quality they had available and got their best with only $100.00 more but also got a 85,000 mile tire. I travel a lot, and after my service, they had my tires running smooth as can be. Steve’s Auto and Nate are the best.

I appreciate Randy's customer service and calmness. I have mechanic experience so when people obviously don't know what they're doing I walk away. He knows what he is talking about and that helped me feel better about my experience.

This awesome service not only fixed what we knew were the problems, but also what we didn't even know were impending issues that could be rectified. AND gave us transportation back to our home so we didn't have to wait during the repair! Then to further give the best customer service understanding, offered us a car to use while ours was still being worked on since it had to be kept overnight, as not to interrupt normal life functions and things we had planned already. They give calculated and easily interpreted pictures as well as a breakdown of what they're looking at when they thoroughly examine your car, and give it to you in layman's terms, while answering any and all questions you might have. I highly recommend (and have!) this service to whoever needs their car checked out and to have the convenience of flexibility while figuring out what might be needing tuned up while going about your daily tasks.

On our way to my brother-in-law's funeral, our minivan broke down in Tremonton, UT. There is almost NOTHING out there. We were able to secure a room for the night, and reserve a rental in the morning out in Logan. While I was picking up the rental, my daughter was googling mechanics in the area. She felt to call Steve's Automotive in Hyde Park. What a great decision! They kindly drove all the way to Tremonton and towed our van back for repairs at no charge, sent us a bumper to bumper assessment of everything wrong with the van (so we could decide if it was worth fixing--because transmissions are pricy), and quoted that, depending on availability, it might take up to three weeks before we could get our van back. Nope! Within a week they were able to get everything fixed, AND, drove the van to their Orem location (where we happen to live) at no charge where I was able to pick it up and get back to life. Michael was incredible and easy to work with. I'd recommend his shop any day!

The owners were amazing! So kind and got me in and out! I usually hate doing anything with cars because it’s never just easy. However they made it easy and have AMAZING benefits when taking your car to them! I highly recommend going here for any car needs! If I could give them more then 5 stars I would!
