I took my '08 Nissan Frontier here to have my rear O2 sensor replaced. Basic. I dropped it off 7:30am on a Monday. They gave me a ride home, which was nice for such a small shop. But, they hadn't bothered to confirm my contact phone, so I had to call them Tuesday morning to see what was up (they'd been calling a completely wrong number). I authorized ordering and replacing the O2 sensor for $450. They tried to sell me on replacing the rear brakes for another $450. I've replaced brakes before, it doesnt cost that much. Them: "Well, we like to replace the rotors at the same time." Me: "Is there something *wrong* with the rotors?" Them: "Well, no, but if your new pads are a different manufacturer than the rotors it can cause uneven wear and shorten the life of the pads." Me: "Yeah, I don't think so, thanks" By Wednesday morning they said it would be done that afternoon. That afternoon The Guy called and said they'd ordered the wrong part; it would need to come from the dealer for an extra $100, and it would take an extra 2 days for the part to arrive. I declined and picked it up Thursday morning, not fixed. They had my truck for three full days and couldnt manage to replace the O2 sensor. And, upon picking up the truck, I found the hood wasn't even latched all the way. I did not get the feeling this shop had my best interests at heart. Definitely won't return.
