Went in to get my Mini Cooper looked at, the customer service is INCREDIBLE, they are so kind and very helpful, though, they do charge a (my opinion) ridiculous amount for services, they said to have my car serviced it was going to cost around 7,000$, that’s more than I paid for the car, though I will say, they diagnosed the problems that I have and helped me figure out what to do, I just would rather do it myself, then pay my life savings for a couple simple jobs.

This place is very dishonest. I brought my car in for a “free” diagnostic test and they called me and said that they needed to do further testing which will be $199. I told them no and when I got my email explaining the repairs I needed done on my car (my car is worth maybe $3000) it was almost $6000. I took my car to another mechanic and they confirmed that the work they said needed to be done was not true. I only had $300 worth of repairs needed. Pretty bad business practice on Steve’s Automotive. Don’t waste your time and money here. Edited to add- I did however get my oil changed by them and just recently was having very odd sounds coming from my engine. I took my car in to my mechanic and he said that Steve’s never hooked up my hoses to the engine after the oil change. Can’t even do that right!!

The facts are simply these: 1) We performed the "free" initial inspection for you exactly as agreed. 2) Part of the free inspection we provided was a thorough multipoint inspection providing you with an accurate understanding of the current condition of your vehicle. 3) If another mechanic truly said that anything on our report was not needed, that indicates they need professional training and shouldn't be working on cars. Furthermore, it's untrained and uneducated mechanics like that who have helped create the current level of public mistrust in the automobile repair industry. 4) We don't make any recommendations unless they are based on facts and in full accordance with professional industry standards. 5) Finally, whether or not you feel your car is worth repairing and maintaining is not for us to decide. Our job is to inform you of its current condition and it's then up to you to decide whether you want to properly maintain it, poorly maintain it, or replace it. Shane was phenomenal through the whole experience, never pushed for an upgrade on anything, and explained options and timeframe. He kept me updated on service, and calmed me down when more problems arose and explained how/when to fix them. Definitely recommend them, A+.

Made an online appointment for a full synthetic oil change on my Mitsubishi. Then called to add a tire rotation. They were very friendly and were able to get the pil change and tire rotation done while I waited. Definitely will be back!

I had my work van towed to Steve’s overnight after it broke down. The next morning Toby called and I explained what the issue was over the phone. He took a look at it and within an hour or two called back with a good estimate. Two days later my van was ready for pickup. 🙌🏼

Really great professional service. They got me an Uber to and from the shop since my car was there overnight.

They had my car about 4 months then finally came down too they can't fix it do to an availability of a wiring diagrams, with the few times I unexpectedly show up all doors and lift gate were unlocked mind you after hours. And still had everything in the same place as when I dropped it off it wasn't touched, to end it all with very bad customer service on top of all of this

Jonathan, I'm sorry we weren't able to help you with your vehicle and I feel it's appropriate to mention a few facts you seem to have left out. 1) Your vehicle was at our shop for over 2 weeks before you responded to our communications regarding the next step. 2) Shortly after you finally responded, we determined it didn't make sense for us work on your vehicle due to the fact that someone else had already done extensive work on it and possibly altered some of the electrical wiring. We made every reasonable attempt to contact you to inform you that we thought it was best if you simply pick up your vehicle and you didn't respond or contact us for nearly a month. Once you finally did, you knew we weren't going to be working on your vehicle you left it in our parking lot for almost another 2 months. Jonathan, sometimes we make mistakes and we might get a 1 star review that I actually feel we deserved, however, in this case I sincerely believe it is unfair to our team who actually did their best to help you in spite of the fact that it was virtually impossible to get a hold of you most of the time your vehicle was at our facility. So, I would respectfully ask you to either update your review so it more accurately reflects the facts or perhaps to simply remove it.
