I've used Steve's for several years - they recommend what SHOULD be done, not just what MUST be done. Preventative maintenance suggestions have always been correct and necessary. Plus they guarantee their work for 3 years/36,000 miles on your repairs and service. Always pleasant and professional.

I previously owned a mini cooper that wouldn't start one morning and took it into Steve's for the first time. I had recently had my car inspected and knew what was wrong with the vehicle. They were honest about the existing problems and fixed my fuel pump the same day. I have since sold that car and I have been used car shopping. I have taken several cars in for a pre-purchase inspection. In fact, one of the cars (Adriane's low review) needed nearly $2,000 in repairs to even PASS the safety inspection. Since then I have taken in a few more cars that passed the safety just fine and had much less work that needed to be done. They have saved me from buying a used car that would have been a headache down the road!! They are quick, friendly, and honest. In fact they don't just tell you what is currently wrong with the car, they look for signs that things might go wrong down the road. To some people this may seem like an "unnecessary list of things" but it's not things you have to fix right away, they are just doing such a great job that you have an overall, long-term picture for the health of your car. I will continue to use them!

Rarely found small-town integrity in a big city! After having my car at the dealership mechanic for over 3 weeks, having a Nissan specialist run his tests, taking it apart and shipping the whole radio console to a specialty company in San Jose for over a month, still nobody could figure out why my entire radio console went out and defrost was stuck on full blast heat. The guys at Steve's really listened to the issues, took good notes, and actually found out what was wrong with my car. The new part was over $1000, but William took it upon himself to shop around, and find a used part for a quarter of the original cost. Not only do they know what they are doing, which is not common amongst the mechanics I've used in the past, but they are good people. They could have charged us hundreds of dollars more, or told us we didn't have any options, and we would have never known the difference. These guys have our family's business for as long as they are around!

One of the best places I've taken my car to in my whole life. It's hard finding somewhere you can trust to not rip you off and tell you exactly what is going on with your car. I trust these guys so much! Highly recommend them

I have been coming here to Steves for about 3 years now and have never had a bad experience yet! My wife loves coming here too. That have even replaced a motor in my truck for me, offered transportation for me every time I've been there. 1 time the owner even drove me back to work in his own vehicle as there shuttle was out already! I highly recommend Steves Automotive Specialist to everyone!

We were traveling across multiple states on vacation when our AC went out. Doug quickly accommodated our repair and coordinated a claim with an out-of-state warranty company. We only had to come out of pocket $15. Our AC is more quiet and works better than ever. Thank you, Doug!
