Awesome friendly little car repair shop! Brought my prius in for an intermittent rattling sound, was a bit of a mystery at first but ended up being a quick easy fix so they didn't charge! Super helpful and friendly, definitely recommend checking them out for your automotive needs!

Went here to get front brakes replaced. Appointment set at 9 am and scheduled to be done at 11 am. It's nearly 2 pm, not yet done. Noone called to tell me it would take longer than expected. 2 hour estimate does not equal 5 hour wait. Awful customer service. Look elsewhere please.

Wish I could give negative stars. The quote I was given to fix my car seemed outrageous. After doing some research on what the average cost was to do the same repairs I decided to get a second opinion. Best decision I've made in a long time. I had my repairs done for a third of the estimate I received at Steve's.

Great service. Fast, friendly, honest, fair. Waiting room was the cleanest auto repair waiting room I have ever seen. I feel like he took the time to really evaluate the problem and explained everything to me. I will for sure be using Doug's for ALL of my car repair needs now!

These guys are total rip offs" I took my vehicle to get a new muffler. They quoted me $479.00 plus tax. I went to master muffler and for the exact same stock muffler, they quoted me $100 parts, and labor, total. Steve Smith wanted 5 times the amount. I will never trust them or go to them again. They also did a big job on my other vehicle that was $1600.00 and I honestly think that they did not do the work.

Our car wouldn't start. While waiting for the tow truck, we noticed we were directly across the street from Doug's. I am very wary of mechanics. When I find one I'm comfortable with, I stay loyal. Even though it was close to closing time, Doug came over to check the car, got it started, and directed us to drive it to the shop. He worked on it then and there, solved the problem, and we left as happy, and newly loyal, customers.

I took my company pickup to a dealership (Which I won't name) in town. The pickup was misfiring, the dealership said they could fix it. I dropped off the pickup on Thursday and picked it up on Monday. They charged me $600 dollars to replace 2 spark plugs (FORD spark plugs take special tools apparently and have a tendency to break......creating more labor hours). Needless to say it wasn't fixed, so I took it to Doug. He had it fixed in one day and my bill was smaller than the dealer by $200. I now take all my cars to Doug's.

I was told that the car I just bought (Malibu 2008) needed new brake pads, but I decided to go to St. George anyway visit my daughter. While driving around, she noticed the screetching noise and suggested I have Doug look into it and compare prices. The dealership I use in Salt Lake was going to charge me over $ 400.00. Doug looked at the car for a good 30 minutes, while his receptionist (I think she's also his wife) made my 2 years old grandson feel right at home. At the end, Doug told me it was all ok, the pads were clean and ready to go, and the breaks on that car were actually brand new and in great shape, as well as the tires. Best news yet: He didn't charge me a thing. I wouldn't be surprised if I make a point to go to St. George every time I need my car repaired. It's more than worth the peace of mind, knowing that there are still honest people out there. Thank you Doug!
