...And slowly but surely all of my vehicles signal problem inductor lights could be seen glowing from behind my steering wheel and thus the nightmare began "where would I take my car? How much would it be? How long would it take?" Oh and how do I avoid being ripped off ? This could have become a huge headache but Luckily for me I know a guy who knows a guy and low and behold "Steve's Automotive Specialist" came to my rescue! They say first impressions are everything and I completely agree! From the second I walked in the front door I was greeted with a smile by Bre in administration. She completely set the tone of my experience. A very sweet and sincere professional , very present. I really liked that! Then came my car analysis/Consultation. The mechanics where very easy to communicate with they explained in clear and direct simple jargon what the issues were with non of the usual beating around the bush uncertainty that I've experienced with past mechanics . They told me how long it would take and quoted my a more then reasonable rate and then came the part that I'm still smiling about... They actually loaned me a car at zero expense to drive while they serviced mine! I'm still in awe :) they kept their word deliver my car on time as promised and it's running like champ! They've earned my business and I know that they'll earn yours! "They're the real deal, they really are!!!"

I arrived after closing time with problems shifting my old truck. Bre set me up with an appointment for first thing the next morning. Three other repair shops had look into the problem, but where unable to identify the problem or fix the real problem. The technician at Steve's identified the broken part in the clutch master cylinder and installed a new part. The problem in not there anymore. I can not thank them enough!

They communicated well what needed to be done and gave me multiple options. They beat a competitors price and the work was done within a day. They also picked me up with their shuttle which I really appreciated.

My Land Cruiser has carried me through 280,000 miles of battlefield twice as gruesome as the second half of the movie “300″. . ..And just like a trusty steed this juggernaut has never left me stranded, thanks in large part to the capable work done by the guys and girls at Steve's Automotive. I have a tendency to try and physically and mechanically destroy my vehicles and now matter what, Steve's always been able to diagnose and fix whatever I've broken.

What kind of place doesn't allow a customer to bring in their own parts? I need the alternator on my car switched out and I already went out and bought it. I went in to see how much it would be and they said "we don't use customer parts" and then they asked if it was too late to return my alternator! I will not be going to steve"s auto again.

Excellent service. I needed a state inspection my a/c diagnosed after doing some work on it. They found the issue fast, and didn't charge extra. One thing done so well, they have a new lifetime customer. Bre at the front desk was an amazing help as well. Friendly, fast , and she followed up quickly and professionally!

I have been a Steve's Auto "in Sandy," convert for a few years now. My car and I, both, love ya'll to death!! =). It is very refreshing to know honest, hard-working, all-vehicle-issue-loving folk's who know my car and I by our first names, and are always happy to assist us. I would be happy to speak for my car at this time too in saying a happy, huge, "BEEP, BEEP!!" P.S. No, the beeps are not swear words, rather, a TEN out of TEN!! =)

We had an excellent experience at Steve's. The service done to our car was great and affordable and the service given to my family was equally fabulous. Bre was fantastic to work with and in coordinating everything with our repairs, she even made sure we could get a loaner car from them so we could still get around. I will definitely be visiting them again in the future.

Love this shop!!! I'm a VW owner and have had a bad time with the VW dealership I bought the car from... Jeremy at Steve's Automotive in Sandy has been great with mw and my little Bug!!! Super knowledgeable and very fair.. and I would recommended them to anyone who is looking for a good shop.. especially if your a VW owner. Go there they will take care of you and your car the way a real Automotive shop should ! Love them!! Stacy H
